Roots Blues, Jazz, Folk and Originals.

Ted Paulsen, a Connecticut resident, writes and sings songs about life in the suburbs and finds ironic humor that keeps him sane. His music is influenced by roots blues and jazz, played on an acoustic guitar. There is a song about the Shopping Mall and how “You can get every thing you will never need” and a song about being a husband in the suburbs “She said if I loved her I’d know what was wrong, I’d stay home and leave her alone” and his old classic about a Canton friend who relishes “Road Kill” as a diet staple. His CD is now available on "hear some" page.

Ted is no stranger to coffee houses across Connecticut. His inimitable style has resonated in such night spots as Poppy Seeds in Granby, Center Squeeze, Borders and Starbucks in West Hartford, The Equator in Manchester, Peaberry’s Cafe in Simsbury, Gertrude & Alices in Collinsville, Its Only Natural in Middletown, Christines in Mystic, Fire and Water in Northampton, Sweet Gatherings in Old Wethersfield along with many others.
